Self-service password reset
You have the ability to reset your password yourself from any location as long as you have access to an internet connection and web browser.
Requiring the use of self-service password reset (we will not reset a password on your behalf) protects your account because we can't be tricked into providing someone other than you with a valid password for your account over the phone or email.
- Go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/, type in your email address and fill in the captcha field based on the letters/numbers shown on the captcha image.

- One your smartphone, open the Authenticator app, click your account to display the 6 digit numerical code that changes every 30 seconds.
Go back to your computers web browser and select Enter a code from my authenticator app, then enter the code and click next.

- Type a new password that meets the QE Password Requirements and then click Finish.

Note: mobile apps that use your QE SSO login will prompt you for your new password.
